You are looking for a therapist who can listen deeply and compassionately to your experience. As a therapist and counselor I listen deeply to what you bring to our sessions. I also aim to hear beyond what you are saying to hear the unspoken message in your story. I take a curious, light-hearted, and down-to-earth approach to our therapy process together. I believe that what is important for your healing will emerge naturally in the course of therapy and I will follow you to what needs the most attention rather than leading you where I think you should be.
Working together on a level playing field, we will locate and identify your internal wisdom and the organic intelligence hidden in your body and your psyche. I believe that each of us has a hidden guide, or “breadcrumb trail” which we can follow into the forest of the unconscious.
Much of our therapy process together will consist of us finding this internal, intuitive guide and discovering where you want to go next in your life. Our work is in helping you find the trail again, and to encourage you to wholeheartedly follow the path to your best self.
I came to this work after years of searching to find right relationship with my life and career. After studying Economics and Religious Studies in undergraduate college, I came to the field of psychology in 2016 for my masters degree in Integral Counseling Psychology. Since then I have dived deep into the study and practice of psychology and psychotherapy in a continuous effort to best equip myself to be able to show up for others and help them move towards healing in their lives. My practice of therapy has come out of the realization that the best thing to devote my life to is the betterment and healing of those around me. Offering therapy fulfills my deepest sense of belonging in life and it is truly my pleasure to be offering these services.
